Divorce Coach - $20k/mo
She ghosted me for 6 months
Then out of the blue paid me $6k in full and said:
“Get me to $25k/mo ASAP”
Ok, challenge accepted. And a challenge it was… first we had to conquer:
- Her Niche was helping Women Thrive after Divorce
- She ONLY accepted Pay in Full sales
- She was very reluctant to use DMs
- She didn’t believe/want to track anything or build systems
- She wanted to make it happen ASAP
We got her to $25k… but not right away, it took about 3 months, as we had to fight with her for the first few weeks to make some big shifts. And to her credit she did…
Here’s what we did to get there:
1 - Her offer was actually incredible, and the results she got for Women were second to none.
This is the problem with good intention coaches and people who actually give a sh*t, they do things the right way, they build an excellent product. But the only time someone can see that is AFTER they pay you.
So our first shift was showcasing previews of the program, showing results and documenting her taking women through certain steps.
Our goal was to make the Perception of her Program just as good as the Reality… in most cases it’s the opposite.
2 - Her only wanting to accept PIFs was costing her… so we thought.
This was a fight, but we got her to advertise various payment options, because that was the number 1 objection she was facing… funnily enough it lead to a lot of calls.
But then she ignored our advice and pushed ONLY Pay in Fulls… but it worked.
People just wanted options and once they spoke with her, they knew it was a no brainer… in this case we were both right.
3 - I don’t care how long you’ve been in business if you’re not tracking your numbers, you will have NO idea what’s broken, what’s working and what you need to do to grow.
So we made her track her daily inputs, and got her to start conversations with her audience.
The first day she got in the DMs she booked 2 calls… both people joined the next day.
They said: “I’ve been wanting to work with you for so long, I was just scared to reach out”
That’s common in DMs, and it’s why they work.
4 - The final thing we worked on was building out systems and an actual process to take someone from cold to sold.
We set up a lead magnet to build her list, we then created a simple VSL which focused on painting the picture of her ideal clients dream life.
Then we set up a CRM to track people throughout the funnel.
This program was an emotional sell, and we needed to be aware of that.
So the more connections (and I mean real connections) we had with people the better…
This systemized it, but left room for her being a real person and communicating with her people.
Our goal was to “scale human”. Because let’s be real, even if you care, you have your own life to, this allowed us to track where people were at and make sure we got them the help they needed, when they needed it…
Can’t lie this was a tough one, but enjoyable nonetheless.
If more businesses focused on the fundamentals like hitting their KPIs, tracking their leads and creating daily actions, they would win with a lot more ease…
Even if your business is focused on solving personal, intimate or spiritual problems you still need systems in place… maybe even more so.
As this allows you to scale being human and real… so you can help more people…
